Winter White Hot!

I am a fashion magazine junkie. There, I said it. In total I get 12 magazines a month and I love each of them for different reasons. As I was flipping through one of my all time favorites, I was frantically flipping to get to my favorite page–the “what’s hot, what’s not” page. I like to read this first as it sets the tone for the rest of the pages. I feel it is a “fashion cheat sheet” for the month. I usually envision my wardrobe and accessories as I go through the list. While there are some times I disagree with the list, for the most part I use it as a guide.

Everyone needs inspiration in their life and in their wardrobe. Even the most fashionably creative friend that you have seeks inspiration or cues from something, someone, or somewhere. So, while reading the hots and nots for this month, I was drawn to the winter white trend. I have been trying out the all white (which is really ivory but we’ll just stick with the proper terminology for it) combo. I highly suggest it. I swear that wearing your winter white corduroys with that winter white sweater or blouse really can lighten up those winter blues that always start in February when you start counting the days until spring. And, jump on this trend while we are so lucky to have no snow on the ground. It is definitely not a trend you want to try with slush and snow on the ground to mess those cute pants.
