Catie’s extensive broadcasting background includes a 2012 Emmy win for On-Air Talent/Host and 7 additional Emmy nominations across her production company & team. Catie’s insight for creating 24/7 City Secrets was to provide a much-needed insider view of the sights, sounds and experiences of her dynamic home town, Chicago. Taking the idea from concept to reality, Catie started her production company, Key to the City Productions, LLC and joined NBC5 Chicago in March 2008 as the Host and Executive Producer of 24/7 City Secrets. Listed as one of the top Chicagoans to watch by CS Magazine, Catie is committed to giving back to her hometown. She is active in numerous charity events and serves on the Advisory Boards of The Ronald McDonald House, Be Bright Pink Chicago, and the Primo Center for Women and Children.

Catie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and honed her on-camera skills through her early performances at Improv Olympics and Second City.

Pete McMurray is the Emmy Award-Winning Co-Host of 24/7 – City Secrets on NBC5 Chicago. Pete has a total of 5 Emmy nominations to his credit, including 3 Emmy nominations for 24/7 Chicago and 2 Emmy nominations for hosting the Chicago Auto Show.

Pete is  number six of twelve (yes 12) kids in his family, something he believes gives him a serious case of middle child syndrome. He was voted Class Clown in high school and later graduated from Bradley University. Pete loves to laugh and embraces the everyday humor he stumbles upon through his endless Chicago experiences.  Pete is currently the morning radio host at 97.1 The DRIVE, is a Monday contributor to Red Eye Newspaper, and is a weekly contributor to the Chicago Bears Pregame Show “Fox Kickoff Sunday.”
